Yes,
I know it's cheating.
Go away for four days. Then BOOM - make four day post.
Oh well.
Mother rarely cheats kids. :)
Let's see - if I can remember what at all happened as of late - then great, if not - we'll consider a "flashback" to the good old years. When Brentik crawled the floor with the best of them.
Saturday:
don't remember. I'll fill in if I DO remember :) I'm pretty sure Daddy had to work that day.
Sunday:
church, brief visit to dad's house, invitation that nobody took up, followed by mass shopping trip for groceries. As usual we're buying for the whole month lol... /yawn tiresome.
Monday:
did we fix the car finally then? Yep i think we did!
As per usual - we'd go swimming in the pool, walking the dogs, watching a cool movie (like Veggie Tales) and doing the Preschool workbook, coloring and the likes.
Never a dull moment, really.

pbs.kids.org
Did you know that if someone is pissing you off - all you have to do is NOT react immediately, and think before you speak, to appear kind and nice?
(Because you can form a much more intelligent comeback to an accusation/insult/whatever, instead of "No! YOU!!")
Having said that - I must say, Brentik - you totally blow my mind kid (Loggy always does, but let's face it - he's got it easy, Brent is literally the reason he's learning so fast, being small and uncomplicated).
I put you on daddy's computer with a regular mouse and within five minutes you figured out every single game on pbskids.org/curiousgeorge.
I mean seriously??
Not only that but you got slightly addicted to them. Which is HARD to curb. I need to fix my timer - so we can do one-two games (or at least bring it down to just one HOUR a day, jeez) and fit in the workbook (which we did, apparently you like tracing letters, woot!)
We also fit in some physical exercise and a movie, which was cool.
Also coloring pages!
You are REALLY good at coloring!
Oh man, I don't even know when you learned that particular skill. Must be since last Mother's day when we started going to church or something. You brought a couple of coloring pages back from Sunday school, but they looked Nothing like that awesome crocodile (alligator?) that you colored yesterday. That was Cool!
Anyways, as I said - you mastered Coloring today. And the computer mouse.
Tip: I had to put a tiny sticker on my mouse for the left - click. Cause it looks like there's only one button instead of three. So. That's bout it.

Recycling.
Not much of note happened on the 5th. Daddy worked (Thank God). We hung out, and did our cleaning bit. Then we went for swimming in the pool. And played at home mostly. All in all it was great. Dog walk with daddy later that day and it's pretty much all she wrote.
We also stopped by the park that's on the way to the dog walking spot.
There we found a bazillion million things to recycle. As I've mentioned before - if we find bottles and cans - we take them to recycling. It's good for the wallet AND the planet, and it's free money. Literally. Even when I'm a millionaire - I'll most likely pick stuff up and recycle. It bugs me when people do Not. Or when they spread trash around. Call it a tick, or a personal issue. I don't care. Mother Likes Recycling.
Having said that - Brent loves recycling too.
A) he digs stomping on the cans with both little feet - making it so darn adorable. (exercise)
2) he loves Sorting with daddy. (sorting)
e) he's really excited about the whole thing and loves to help out (children love to help, did you know?)
I do so dislike people that look down on people that find recycling. They are thoughtless and possibly Godless as well - so I really don't care what they think of me. It's a personal judgement thing. Plus it's really their money. That they threw away.
I mean - for instance, your uncle L picks up money off the ground, right? well this is quite the same - except we get paid in dollars, instead of pennies :P
And it literally pays our gas to walk the dogs for the month.
All I need to do is take this recycling horse by the reins and figure out if the milk jugs and all those other things can get recycled. Cause once I'll start driving it back and fro, I'll probably have very little trash leftover.
My kids are awesome!
huzzah.

July 4th!
Happy Birthday America!
I wish we would have made it to arco on time. And got a little closer (maybe?).
The parking lots, the roads, and the very air was thick to the brim. So we parked somewhere in a parking lot with a hundred others, got the kids on top of our van and held them for a few minutes so they could see the show.
Brent loved it, Logan was REALLY excited. I couldn't take too many pictures, having to hold Loggy and balancing on top of the car with a ladder in the way - but I did take a short video.
Which I'll upload in a bit.
During the day we went out to the same part of the lake, that we've been going to for a couple of days.
Grandpa came with us, brought marinated chicken, soda - the good stuff. He also dragged a good ol' camping stove and I managed some delicious chicken (sorry no pictures this time, but I tell you it was perfection!).
The children, daddy and I (pups included of course!) swam across the same part of the lake to a small island and back. Then daddy and I swam by ourselves just for exercise. Because swimming is fun.
The walk to our usual spot is pretty long so grandpa vowed not to do it again. heheh. Oh well. It's still fun and dogs get plenty of movement.

Bragging
I reserve the bragging rights for having some of the most awesome kids on the planet. Sure they never listen, drive me bugs and in general avoid complying. But they are the smartest strongest kids I've ever seen. And at the end of the day they do listen... somehow. :)

Same Lake, different side.
Monday was good, hot, but good. We got to the Natomas Lake, and had a good swim.
You see that log? Duke was tied to it on the shore where I took a picture. He was so upset that Gary and Brentik went on the other side without him - he simply pulled it all the way across the lake.
My adorable Loggy-bear!
You guys all came back finally :)

Fun Sunday!
Boy, we sure had fun on Sunday. After an inspiring time at
the church, we dropped by the house for food and then took off back over to
grandpa’s side of the world – to go to the little petting barn. Couple of
animals, they also kept promising that the little train would be around.
Incidentally they DIDN’T have the train.
But this is what they DID have:
We spent pretty much the whole day there. Daddy had to come
home and go to work, while Brent bounced around aimlessly (fighting mama about
those naps you see). Then we realized daddy LOST his wallet (with half our life
in it, you know money, important documents, etc.
So we rushed back over as soon as possible, and viola! Not Only did the carnival operators Find it for us, but they kept it, and didn’t keep anything at all. Was totally awesome!

We proceeded to continue our stay and had more fun. We were
all mega exhausted when we got home. I
don’t remember what we had for dinner. Don’t remember even if anyone took a
bath. I actually don’t think anyone except daddy got cleaned up. But it was
well worth it. Brent had a blast, so did
I and daddy. Logan in general was an awesome little dude that watched the whole thing.
